Corporeal Revolution

Corporeal Revolution is a project that I am currently working on as part of my Masters of Fine Art Thesis. It is in essence that exploration of the inherent sonic qualities of materials.

Final Year of Grad School = New Awesome Studio

Soooo in a little under 8 months now I will have my Masters of Fine Arts and even though I have no idea how the hell I will ever get everything done in time, I do know where I will be I will be working. I must say that my new studio is awesome and since I have a camera and an outlet to the world wide webs I figured I would share (gloat) my new space in picture form.

So I have a sweet view and some super expensive computers to mess around with. Although in actuality I have yet to turn both of them on.

The room is massive and as of right now it is all mine. Well all mine minus all the shit that is being stored in the room as well. Not really a problem though as I stole some lovely free standing walls from the photo department. I feel confident that no one in that department know how to use the interwebs so I am pretty sure I am safe showing my stolen walls off.

More desk space and junk. Oh and my new favorite thing ever in the form of the Elysium poster by the super talented Martin Ansin. Mondo score (see this is funny because it is a Mondo exclusive poster).

I also am the very proud owner of this sticker clad mini fridge. The fridge was a gift from the amazingly beautiful and super talented Jenna Turner (she is an amazing ceramic artist and you should totally check out her website here) The stickers however were all me.

And what studio would be complete without a little morning pick me up. Or as I call it a warm hug in liquid form. Well this bring me to the end of this little tour. I suppose I should get to work and perhaps make some new work and stop showing off. Anyways check back periodically for work and events and news and what not.

A Short A Day Project

So this was a little project I started working on but had to abandon after a week as it turns out that doing a stop motion animation a day is not really conducive to having a life. While I am not doing them every day anymore I am still working on the shorts so as they get finished they will get uploaded here.

You could also check out my Vimeo Page here:

We Were Once Plain

Document Name_batchprojpg05

I am slowly getting everything back up and have tons of cool new stuff but i would feel remise if i did not add these amazing images from the Munny show We Were Once Plain. It was an awesome show with 19 other artists and my self so here they are.

Under Construction

If perhaps you had not noticed this A Youth Wasted is currently under construction. I know this happens a lot for a page that has so little traffic and action but I guess if I would stop breaking the damn thing, things would stay working longer. That being said it has been a big year and I have a ton of stuff to upload from Year 1 of grad school. So stay tuned or you know don’t.
